Explore peaceful Ho Chi Minh city by boat (Full day)
Itinerary:
Pick up from hotel by car to visit Reunification Palace, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral – a biggest center of Catholicism in modern Vietnam and the Independence Palace (former Presidential Palace of the South of Vietnam).
You then embark boat and starting goes around Thanh Da Islet and across Tourism Village Binh Quoi I. Tourists have sightseeing and take photos and enjoy lunch.
Then, the boat goes upstream of Saigon River to take you to Lai Thieu pottery craft village - a great diversity of ceramics and outdoor pottery wares.Having continued downstream return to city, boating around District 4 – an old area of Saigon separated from downtown by a narrow Canal, where you can see mixture of architectural styles, urban sceneries combined with historical objects. You will pass Nha Rong wharf (The Dragon house) built in 1863 by French colonialists, where now Ho Chi Minh Museum is located. You will see Saigon Port and observe the daily life of city inhabitants.
Many small bridges across the canals will attract your capture. The most famous one is Cau Mong (Rainbow Bridge) built in 1893 by Gustave Eiffel, 7 years before his famous tower in Paris.Trip end at Thu Thiem habour around 5pm, transfer back your hotel.
