Itinerary:

Start the day tour from your hotel at 8:00 for a full day tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Take a morning ride on cyclo through busy Saigon streets, catch up interesting moments of local life and visit to city’s some featured sights. Explore the War Remnants Museum where you learn something about serious wars that happened in the country in the last century, visit the Independence Palace (former Presidential Palace of the South of Vietnam), admire the special gothic style of century-old Notre-Dame Cathedral and the nearby Central Post Office, ride through Dong Khoi street (former Rue Catinat, made famous by Graham Greene in his bestselling book the Quiet American) and spend some time for a troll through the Ben Thanh Market that filled with lots of interesting local products.

After lunch with local specialties, this afternoon you will make the way for Cho Lon - the city’s Chinatown district. Wander through colorful streets and shops at Binh Tay Market, visit to the Cantonese Thien Hau Pagoda - dedicated to the goddess of the sea. Followed by a visit to the FITO Museum, Vietnams first traditional medicine museum exhibiting an amazing collection of 3,000 items relevant to the development of traditional Vietnamese medicine, implements used to prepare indigenous herbs, objects commonly found in traditional pharmacies as well as ancient books and documents on traditional Vietnamese medicine.

Get back to the hotel at the end of the afternoon.
